While I have told you previously about the story and the meaning, now let's talk about the inspiration. While most of the products are little, simple affirmations; some have serious connotations or on the flip side of that humor and sarcasm. The inspiration for the products come from various places.
For the majority of the products you find on Random Intrigue you will find a common theme, you matter, you are loved, you are enough, you are worthy. Why? I went most of my life not believing these things about myself. I genuinely believe that you are ALL of those things and I want to spread the word. By wearing or using the products you see here, you spread those beliefs further. Getting more people to think those things about themselves, even maybe you start believing them about yourself, if you don't already.
Other products like the one I have featured as an image for this blog are more serious, suicide awareness. We live in a time where suicide is at an all time high. It should be talked about more. Those that need help, who feel alone, should feel able to reach out. I am so thankful that I did. Like the shirt says.. My story wasn't over. I even have a semicolon tattooed on my wrist. Where the author could've inserted a period to end the story, a semicolon is used instead to keep the story alive. YOU are worthy. YOU are enough. YOU are needed here. YOUR story isn't over. The sarcasm and humor inspired products are simple.. Laughter is universal and can melt tension away. Laughter like tears... are healing. Why not laugh until you cry? TWOFER! After 20 years in healthcare, sarcasm just naturally flows from me. You will find it sprinkled here and there. If I didn't have some, would it really be MY store? No. It wouldn't.
